Evelyn Gray Hardison, 87, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at the Vintage Inn. Funeral services will be held Monday at 2:00 PM at Holly Springs United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Hardison was born in Martin County on October 7, 1924, daughter of the late Samuel Henry Hopkins and Florine Andrews.
On January 5, 1945, she married Jack Hardison who died on May 18, 2003. In addition, she is survived by her daughters
Dale Davenport of Creswell, Brenda Lane of Williamston; Son Jackie Hardison of Williamston; Brother Roger Hopkins of Plymouth; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
