Jack Hunter Bowen

Jack Hunter Bowen, 79, died Friday March 8, 2013 at his home. Graveside services will be held Monday, March 11, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Martin Memorial Gardens with Greg Sexton, Rev. Timmy Bowen and Ken Gurganus officiating. He was the son of the late James Bowen and Lenora Swain Bowen. Jack was a farmer and heavy equipment operator. On February 20, 2000 he married Laurie Mitchell who survives. He was preceded in death by his daughter Jamie Nadine Bowen.

He is survived by his wife Laurie M. Bowen, Son Timothy Gene Bowen of Williamston, step daughter Kim Pierce of Williamston, step son J.C. Pierce lll of Barnesville, Ohio, Sisters Evelyn B. Gurganus of Williamston, Patricia B. Revels of Williamston, Brothers Dee Bowen of Williamston, Tommy Bowen of Williamston, Grandchildren Carla Horn of Williamston, Jeremy Bowen of Williamston, Great Grandson Hunter Horn of Williamston, Step Grandson Alex Kinney of Williamston.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 10, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM at Bethany Pentecostal Holiness Church and other times at the home.
