Sending condolences to Cherry and all of Johnny's family.

John (Johnny)  as we knew  him  when  the family lived on Pine St., & corner of Waverly St. Farmville. Johnny was born  the same date  as my brother Ralph Mozingo, who died  in 2011.  Johnny & his  sister  Cherry  were always friends & playmates in the neighborhood.  Hadn't seen Johnny in years, his family & our family all went  to Farmville Hi.School.  I  did know he  had an hunting accident  a few years ago.   I  know  his  siblings &  relatives  will miss Johnny  dearly.   This note  is  to express our condolences.

Ben ad Bob, so sorry to hear about Johnny. I have some great memories from our younger days playing together at Grandmama's house in Everetts. He has had a lot of obstacles to deal with in his life. I must say he has been an inspiration to everyone. He always had that sweet smile on his face whenever I saw him! His is now walking around with all the Cherry family as well as Hardison family and of course Dear Eleanor. May God Bless all of you!

"Johnny" even as a kid, was one of the nicest guys I've ever known. Always had a smile and a good natured ribbing for his buddies. And I'll bet his sons are a lot like him. I am thankful he was a part of my young life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Charles Owens, FHS classmate.
