Ruth Price Peaks

l9l7 to Ira S Price Sr and Lizzie Cross Price. Her mother passed away during the

Influenza Pandemic and was later raised by her father and stepmother, Mary Whichard

Price. She married Jodie Peaks on February 24,1933 and they had seven children. Her

greatest accomplishments in life were being a wife, mother and grandmother. Nothing

pleased her more than being surrounded by her family. She also loved flowers and was an

avid gardener. Ruth was a member of Roberson Chapel Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and two sons, Bobby Peaks and Ronald

Peaks. Brothers Elbert Price, Staton Price, Malotha Price, James "Buddy" Price, and

Maylon "Dick" Price, and sisters Hazel P Cowan, Hester P Hardison, and Hilda P Haynes

also preceded her.

She is survived by sons J. L. Peaks and wife Nan, Donald Peaks and wife Phyllis,

daughters Janie P Nicholson and husband Chester, Kathie P Deans and husband Frank,

and Jo P Morgan and husband Bill, daughter in laws Sidney Peaks and Mary Peaks.

Brothers Haywood Price and wife Flossie, Ira S Price Jr and wife Gail, Preston Price and

wife Ruby, and sister Peggy P Barber and husband Dallas, 2l grandchildren, numerous

great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at2:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Home Chapel

and burial will follow at Martin Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8:00 PM at Biggs Funeral Home and

other times at residence of Janie Nicholson 1341 Price Rd Williamston.
