Wayne, Erin and Matthew,   It is my prayer that the Lord will comfort you through your grieving and help you remember the laughter and the good times.  Vickie and I had such wonderful times growing up. I remember Kathy, Vickie and myself would play cards alot at Vickies and eat banana sandwiches with potato chips in the sandwich. That was a first for me but I still love them to this day. Wayne, when Vickie fell madly in love with you the card games stopped and she was on her way to a new phase in her life. Oh, how she loved you so. You and Vickie now have such beautiful loving children that you both are so very proud of. Vickie and I lost contact for years until the past few years.   What a wonderful women she was. She loved her family so much and so very proud of you, Erin and Matthew. You all were the topic of every conversation we had. I am so grateful for the trip she and I took to the Outer Banks. Even though Vickie was not well we made the best of it laying on the shore watching the waves come in and listening to the seagulls. We couldn't leave the Outer Banks until we stopped at a restaurant to get crab legs. She knew exactly where to go to get buffet and boy did she put down some dungen crab legs. I believe she made at least four trips to the buffet bringing back piles of crab legs. I finally asked her where she was putting them . To my knowledge we were there about  two and a half hours. Of course I did my share of snow crab legs. She loved the beach and the times you all and Kathy spent down there. I knew our trip would more than likely be our last together and it was, but I would not trade those precious moments together for anything. Riding with the top down in the car and watching our hair flying all over in the wind, laughing and just being young girls once more was such a blessing to me and I'm to her also.I will always hold fond memories of Vickie and will also miss her and her laughter. Please know that Doug and I are here for you and always will be. You are in our continued thoughts and prayers. Our love always.

I am so sad for your lost, I had just found my good friend and shared some goods times we had as kids, I will always remember Vickie , she had a special place in my heart, I just hate I didn't get to see her, but I will cherish the phone calls we shared.  God be with your Family,

Wayne and Family, 

It's been a along time since I had seen Vickie.  She was just as  pretty as I remember from Cary/Apex. I remember the days when we had cookout's at Cathy's.  She taught me how to french braid Ashley/Amber's hair.  She was beautiful inside and out.  I know, how it is to lose special people. 

Time will heal a broken heart, but she is at peace.

Ma, Wayne, Matthew, Erin and Adrian,
People will say "I know how you feel" but they really don't. They mean well, but each of you had your own special relationship with Vickie as no other had. No one will really truly know how you feel. 
Family and Faith meant everything to her. Vickie loved all of you with all her heart. She will live in your heart and your memories forever.
I pray as time goes by the pain you feel right now will ease and you will find comfort in knowing she is in Heaven and no longer suffering.

You and your family are in my thoughts and my prayers. Your mother set such a wonderful example of strength and grace in the face of troubles, I believe her example will help you through the days ahead.

I don't know what I will do without her, but she is so much better with the Lord than with us. Thank God she is not suffering anymore.  I will miss my sweet sister; however, knowing I will see her again strong and unbroken means everything.  Ma, Wayne, Erin, Matthew and Adrian, please know I love you all and will be there for you always.

Vickie will be missed by many.  She was a very loving and giving person.  She was able to fulfill her biggest wish and that was to live to raise her two children to adulthood.  She has suffered for many years and now she is at peace and in the loving hands of the Lord.  She will not suffer any more.  All of you are in my thoughts and prayers as you deal with this loss.  May God bless and comfort you.  We will all miss her so very much.

We love you, Vickie!  You fought a long, hard battle for a very long time!  My thoughts and prayers go out to Wayne and the children and especially to Mrs. Williams.   You all have been through so much and I hope that you will understand in time that Vickie is so much better off and in a better place.  She is no longer in pain.  Praise God!   I'll bet 'Pa' was there to give her a big hug!  Rest in peace, Sweet Vickie!
