November 28, 1961- February 27, 2024. Of Kenmore, NY and Hanford Bay, NY. Beloved son of the late Dr. Worthington, Jr. and Jean (nee Lyon) Schenk; dear brother of Martha Schenk, Elsa Kimbell, Dr. Gregory (Nancy), Molly and the late Lura and Dr. Worthington “Sandy” Schenk; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. The family will be present to receive friends Tuesday, March 12th from 4-7 PM at DENGLER, ROBERTS, PERNA FUNERAL HOME, 3070 DELAWARE AVENUE, KENMORE. Flowers gratefully declined.
Those who knew Andrew loved him. He loved to garden and loved his cats. Form many years, Andrew worked at Michael's Florist and made many friends. He loved being out and about on his bike, the golf cart and many friends would see him riding around Kenmore in his wheelchair!
He enjoyed riding around Hanford Bay saying hello to everyone. Andrew was always looking to make someone smile. Despite his many challenges, he maintained a great sense of humor. He will be missed by his family and many caregivers.
