Carol (nee Klaja) Majka, of Lancaster, NY passed away peacefully at age 78 after a long-term illness. Beloved and devoted wife of 51 years to the late Kenneth Majka; loving mother of Amy (Peter) Olsen, Kevin (late Julie) Majka, and Jeffrey (Danielle) Majka; cherished grandmother of Madeline and Helene Olsen, and Sophie Majka. She is predeceased by her parents, Aloisius and Sophie, sister Diane, and brother Brian. A graduate of St. Mary's High School and Buffalo State College, Mrs. Majka was a dedicated elementary teacher of over 30 years at John A. Sciole School in the Lancaster School District. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, 129 Laverack Ave., Lancaster, NY on Saturday (June 28, 2025) at 10:30am. Please assemble at church. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center or to the donor's charity of choice.
