My deepest sympathy to Helen's family. I met Helen thru Norma (she was a cousin to my husband George). I was honored to share dinners with Helen, both in St Catharines and at Canterbury. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed. My prayers are with you.

Some of my fondest memories are from decades ago when I visited Aunt Helen and her family with my Nana, her sister. What an incredible blessing to be a part of the love, hospitality and kindness. I faintly remember hearing the greek words "?????a µ?? a?ap?" which translate to "My favorite doll" when they referred to us grandkids.  My heart grieves with yours.

Dear Cheddy & Bill,
Dad and I are so sorry to hear about your Mom.  Your family has been part of our family for as long as I can remember.  Obviously, Helen was a dear friend to my parents, but over the course of 50 years, she and I became great friends in our own right. In fact, when Dad and I came up to Buffalo last Summer, Helen was the first person I called, and I am so grateful we got to spend an evening with her. She was as decent, kind and generous a spirit as God ever created.  I count her as a blessing in my life.  I know she and my Mom are getting a bridge game together right now.  I will keep her, as well as you, Donna, David, your kids and the Neubert clan in my prayers.

My fondest memory of Helen has to be that she trusted me implicitly whenever Cheddy and I hung out together in our teen years.

Yia Yia was a great lady. I remember all the times I got to see her at Canterbury Woods. She was a joy to be around. I will never forget her.

Rachael, you and your family have been in my thoughts and prayers.  I've enjoyed your Yia Yia stories for years - she is a lucky woman to have been loved so, so much.

On behalf of Arline Deckert and myself, I am sorry for your loss.  Helen would often stop by to pet Lexi and talk to Aunt Arline while we sat in the CW main reception area. Helen always had a smile on her face and was very kind to Aunt Arline & Lexi. I know Helen visited with us in the lobby last week and I was so surpised to hear that she had passed.  My heart goes out to you and yours.

 I am very sorry about the death of your mother. She was a very fun person to be a round, When mom and I got to gather with her.
 Mom and I will remember her in our prayers.  we will also remember you all in our prayers.
