Sorry to hear of your passing. i knew you from childhood, high school, and young adulthood. You were a beautiful and friendly person. I'm  so glad that we shared so many events and travels.  These memories will stay with me unill I leave this earth.   I wish we could  have had so many more.

The news of Maria's passing was posted on the HSBC friends Facebook page. Some of her HSBC colleagues have posted lovely memories here, but you should know that well over 125 people posted loving memories on the Facebook page too. She was a wonderful person and very much loved. 

Such a sweet, lovely -- and fun -- woman you were, Maria.  My memories go way back - to the times spent together with my dearly departed cousin, Donna D'Innocenzo.  We were a part of the crazy disco age of the 70's and spent much time at the various nightclubs, most notably Mulligan's on Hertel Avenue.   And, the Caito's on Hampshire always offered me a place to crash so that I didn't have to drive by myself all the way back to North Boston, NY after a long night.  Though we weren't particularly close anymore, we still kept in touch on Facebook.  May this sweet woman rest in peace.  I've made a donation in Maria's memory to Hospice Buffalo.   To all who knew and loved Maria, please take care.

Maria was genuinely Beautiful. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. I remember when her family lived on Hampshire St.  When we were growing up. I was fortunate to attend high school with her. And occasionally would see her at fun events that had live music. I am so sorry for this loss. Loved Her. May She Rest in Peace.

I have known Maria for over 30 years and can honestly say I can’t ever remember her saying anything bad about anyone. Maria and I worked together for many years, first at Marine Midland and then at HSBC. We were always in different departments, but whenever we crossed paths it was like no time has passed and she was there with a sweet smile and gentle spirit. RIP my friend. Maria took me under her wing when I first stared with the bank over 30 years ago. She was my super cool work MOM back then!  While we lost touch over the years, she always had  fond place in my heart. Maria was a beautiful soul!

First met Maria when she taught me the Customer Service ropes back in the early 80's. We remained friends through out her entire career at Marine Midland now HSBC Bank. She worked directly for me in 2008 through her departure from HSBC. She was always very reliable, personable and a joy to have on the team. Bottom line, a very personable and AMAZING person that one would be proud to not only call a colleague but more so a FRIEND! Rest in peace my friend and always know you will never be forgotten!!!💔💝
