A smile always lights up my face when I think about Uncle Bob. Loved the time he painted the frame around Gram’s garage the same color as her car as she scraped it every time.

So many fond memories of our Uncle Bob! We loved his quiet, quick sense of humor! 

Was so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr Pankow. My sincerest condolences to Eric and the Pankow family. Who could forgot jumping off  the garage roof and swinging from the tree rope into his pool! It was like a scene from Swiss Family Robinson. We shared great father's who were always there for us, tried hard to keep us in line, while putting up with most of our shenanigans! Those  were great memories and  better days for sure.

I am so very sorry to hear that Mr. Pankow passed away. Aunt Carol shared with me the great care that his devoted children and grandchildren provided during the pandemic.  He was a very rich man, indeed. Sending love and prayers to the Pankow family. 

The Harloff Virginia constituency is with you as you remember Bob, the lovely & loving husband, father, and grandfather to a great family. Condolences to you, Jackie, and Gretchen, Eric, Jennifer, Sarah, Matt, and Lindsey, Rachel, William, Nicole, Bradley and Riley, and Penny, Dan and Mary Lee. We are sorry for your loss, but know we're better for having known him. We wish you comfort in your loved ones, peace within yourselves, and solace for having had Bob love and be loved by you.

Uncle Bob, the man, the myth, the legend….. a true treasure! So thankful for all he gave to our lives. The blending of our families on weekends, vacations, holidays was a true gift, and Buffalo was the perfect place for it to happen.  Watching the love he had for Aunt Jackie, and the many humerous moments they shared, which then spread to their awesome kids, was a life lesson never forgotten. Love you guys always, Barb

Uncle Bob will be sorely missed.  He was a great uncle, quick with a joke, kind, thoughtful, helpful, and hard-working.  I am so grateful to have been your niece💖.

My deepest sympathies go out to Sarah and her family in the loss of their father. I didn't know Mr. Pankow personally, but he must have been a wonderful father because Sarah turned out to be someone I admire for her intelligence, kindness and ethics. My prayers are with Sarah and the Pankow family during this difficult time.

My wonderful Uncle Bob was a huge part of my life growing up in Buffalo. However, there is a photo to prove that him dumped a bowl of rice on Jim and I as we scooted out of Resurrection Church after we got married. I always loved sitting near him as he would have a quiet, hilarious commentary going on.
