Dear Bhayana Family,

I feel very lucky to have been able to spend time with your family over the past few years.   The Thanksgivings I have spent in Buffalo have really become one of my fondest memories ever.  It was wonderful to be surrounded by a family that cared for each other so much.  I think you are very lucky to have lived close to each other and spend so much time together.  I know that Dadi must have loved being close to her family. When I think of her I think of a very smart and elegant strong woman.  I will never forget the move from the old house to Canterbury.  She was definitely a woman in command directing everyone and making sure that everything was just so.  She made sure we didn't miss anything including the closet full of coats! I will also never forget her kindness and generosity towards me; she always made me feel incredibly welcome. I know it must have meant the world to her to be able to attend Mo and Brittney's graduations this summer. I could tell how important you all were to her and how proud she was of you.  I think above all she loved her family.  I will miss her and am thankful to have known her.
