Arthur "Art" Zeinfeld

Arthur "Art" Zeinfeld, age 102. Loving son of the late Joseph and Ida Zeinfeld; beloved husband of 62 years to Margaret "Peggy"; devoted father of Ileen (Mitch) Salzstein and Joyce (David) Dlugie; proud grandfather of Kevin (Amy) Salzstein, Alyssa Salzstein, Daniel Dlugie, and Jessica (fiance Nate Wellek) Dlugie; adored brother of the late Syd (late Bill), Min (late Harry), Bert (late Sam), Moe (late Bea), Lou (late Norma), Zel (late Shirley), and Vic; treasured uncle, cousin, and friend to many.

Art grew up in Maywood, Illinois and graduated from Proviso East High School and Northwestern University. His early years were spent working in the family grocery business in Maywood. He ultimately became a successful real estate investor with his beloved brothers. He was a United States Army Veteran, WWII, D-Day Plus 2. Family was EVERYTHING to Art. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Friends and family will gather for a funeral service for Art that will be held on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023 at 1 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Boulevard, Wilmette, Illinois. Interment Menorah Gardens, Broadview.
