

Beverlee Brooks Warshawsky was born September 30, 1932 in Toronto, Canada to parents Irving and Rose Brooks. She grew up in Chicago, the youngest of three daughters. Beverlee married the love of her life, Jerry Warshawsky, in 1953 and together they had 3 daughters: Bobbi, Elyse and Evalyn.
Beverlee dedicated her life to her family. She shared her love unconditionally and in turn, was loved by all. She adored her 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and never passed up an opportunity to be with them. Her greatest joy was being "Bubbe Bev."
A student of the Art Institute of Chicago, Beverlee was an accomplished artist. While her art has been showcased in multiple galleries across the country, what brought her the most joy was painting portraits for her family and friends; beloved pets were her specialty.
Beverlee was proceeded in death by her husband, Gerald, her two sisters Dorris (Leonard) Brown and Delphine (Norman) Tanner. Beverlee is survived by her three daughters Bobbi (Terry) Minogue, Elyse (Michael) Kaskel, Evalyn Warshawsky, grandchildren Paul (Tasha) Minogue, Michael (Lital) Minogue, Jenny (Matt) Skogman, Talyn (Josh) Kaskel & Remy (Eliot) Kershner, great-grandchildren Tatiana, Vincent, Cameron, Teddy, Dylan & Louis.
A graveside service will take place Monday, April 11th at 11am at Waldheim Cemetery, 1400 Des Plaines Ave, Forest Park, IL. She will be deeply missed by all. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Planned Parenthood.
