Dee Dee H. Klein

Dee Dee H. Klein (1936) was married 67 years to her soulmate Alan B. Klein. She was the pillar of the family, and the perfect and loving mother to her three sons Dr. Gary T. Klein (Dr. Nancy Klein), Dr. Kenneth L. Klein (Jeanne Klein) and Steven H. Klein (Amy Klein). She was teacher, caregiver, and a constant cheerleader of her five grandchildren, Julie Schneider (Dr. Spencer Schneider), Dr. Jamie Bar-Ness (Omer Bar-Ness), Gregory Klein (fiancé Lori Resnik), Lauren Klein, and Alexander Klein. She dearly loved her great-grandchildren, Adeline Schneider, Leona Schneider, and Ziv Bar-Ness. She graduated Northwestern University's Master's Program, and taught and mentored students seeking their undergraduate and graduate degrees in Learning Disabilities for over seventeen years at Northwestern University. Dee Dee saw only the best in her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, students, friends, and community. She loved life, lived everyday to its fullest, was the ultimate optimist, and truly viewed the world through rose-colored glasses (though she preferred lilies of the valley). She was loved by all, will be missed by all, but we will carry her spirit with us forever. Funeral services are private.
