Born on December 8, 1941 in Aurora, IL, Earle spent most of his life in the Chicago area surrounded by family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Eleanor; his brother Wayne and sister-in-law Joanna, and their daughter, Eva; his children, Laurie (Tim) and Scott (Ghyslaine); and his four cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Nicholas, Cassandra, and Madeline. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Adeline Kuhn. He is also survived by his son’s former wife, Debbie Bowling, who continued to hold a special place in his life.
Earle was a devoted husband and father, deeply proud of his family and always present for them. He built a long career as an accountant before later taking over his father’s business, where he worked as a public relations manager.
Earle found joy in many things—his beloved dogs, playing chess, and cheering for (and sometimes booing!) the Chicago Bears. Earle enjoyed amateur radio, and in a nod to the phonetic radio alphabet, he named two of his dogs Tango and Charlie. Earle was a natural storyteller and loved to tell jokes and anecdotes. He had a terrific sense of humor and a special way of connecting with people from all walks of life.
He will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to family, and the quiet strength he brought to every chapter of his life.
