Edith Strauss nee Tersch, 97, of Chicago, Illinois passed away peacefully on June 23, 2025. She was the dearly beloved wife of Walter; devoted mother of Leah (Avraham) Oriel of Jerusalem and Jeffrey (Lyla) Strauss of Skokie, Illinois; loving grandmother of 11; proud great-grandmother of 43; dear sister of Trude (Norman) Kimmel; fond aunt and cousin; and a dedicated community volunteer for many years including The Selfhelp Home where she later lived, and at Michael Reese Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family also hopes that anyone who knew her will talk about their memories of her.
