Goldene "Dee" J. Perlman

Dee Perlman, age 90, of Northbrook, IL passed away on May 19, 2025, with her daughters Amy and Debbie by her side. Dee was born on June 29, 1934 in Chicago, IL. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

Dee dedicated her time to continuously expanding her knowledge in a variety of subjects. After retiring as a skilled legal secretary in her 60s and losing her beloved husband Lenny, she was a prolific reader, always curious and eager to learn new things and keep anyone on their toes with lively discussion about history, current events, politics, travel, art and most importantly, the proper way to play a hand of blackjack. At 90 years old, Dee lived a busy and independent life. She enjoyed the company of family, friends, neighbors, and especially her granddaughter. Her selfless care for others, love, kindness, laughter and sense of humor will be greatly missed.

Dee is survived by her daughters Amy Perlman Harris and Debbie Perlman, her cherished granddaughter Emma Harris, son-in-law Rob Harris, as well as her dear friends and extended family.

Services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025, 12:00 PM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, IL. For shiva information, please call the funeral home.
