

Jacqueline B. Weingartner (nee Brandt) 92, passed away on February 25, 2015. She was born September 14, 1922 to John Arthur and Maude Brandt (nee Burke) in Aurora, Illinois. She was an avid gardener and longtime member of the Lincolnwood Garden Club as well as an active member of PEO. She was a lifelong Northwestern football fan- Go Cats! She worked at the Burlington Northern Railroad offices following her graduation from Aurora East High School in 1940, and after her children were grown, she worked at Evanston Township High School and the Northwestern School of Music.
She married her high school sweetheart, Erwin A. Weingartner on February 27, 1944. Together they raised and are survived by four loving children; Tom (Susan) Weingartner, Steve (Sally) Weingartner, Andy (Lisa Clark) Weingartner, and Laura (Mostafa Haitam) Weingartner. She is also survived by her two grandchildren, Jessie and Clay Weingartner and her sister, Louise Lloyd. Preceding her in death are her husband and sisters: Merrianne (Wally) Widmer, Jeanne (Ted) Wideman and Lisbeth (Dick) Harter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2015 from 3 to 7pm at Wm. H. Scott Funeral Home. Funeral service Monday, March 2, 2015 at 11a.m. at First United Methodist Church, 516 Church St. Evanston, Illinois. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie, Illinois.
