Beloved husband of Catherine Libera-Slonsky; loving father of Jeremy (Miriam) Litt, Shawn (late Sherri) Slonsky, Sheri (Ed) Burnside, Scott (Tina) Slonsky, Shannon Slonsky and Barbara Libera, Patricia Ann (Terry) Libera-Rice, James Libera and Phil Libera; proud grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 20; caring brother of 3 late siblings. Leonard was a proud disabled U.S. Army veteran and served his county faithfully during the Korean Conflict. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 in the mausoleum at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, 17W201 Roosevelt Rd, Oakbrook Terrace, IL 60181.
