Ophira (nee, Chen) Ben-Arieh, age 79. Beloved wife of the late Yehuda Ben-Arieh; loving mother of Ziva (Lindsey) Rabushka and Galya (James) Ruffer; Adored Savta of Audrey, Adam and Coby Rabushka and Ari, Jonah, Eli and Sheli Ruffer; devoted Sister of the late Yoav (Shoshana) Chen; and dear aunt and friend to so many.
Ophira changed so many lives and touched even more through her passion for life, infinite wisdom and ability to create a special bond with everyone. She was a lover of the arts and founder of the renowned Hebrew Book Club as well as being integral to the Chicago Festival of Israeli Cinema for a number of years.
