The first time Paul and I ever talked, it was for work & over the phone --which lasted 4 hours. I thought I was a talker until I met Paul. We continued to remain friends within out industry and had high respects for one another. It is very unfortunate to loose someone with such love of life. When we spoke he'd often brag about his grandson, and the last time we spoke, it was just that. All about his grandson, it was clear he had a deep love for his family and I'll miss my talks with him. RIP buddy. 

Paul was a great friend and colleague. He was kind hearted, smart and incredibly funny. He was a delightful friend and will surely be missed by many. Rest in Peace, Paul. 

Paul and I developed the recruiting department at H&R Block Financial Advisors. After a year trying to get the branch managers to recruit, we were given permission to hold a three day training meeting in Nashville. Half of the managers were fully engaged, while the other half were not. So, Paul came up with this brilliant idea. When the managers arrived at the airport a travel person checked them off a list. The managers that were fully engaged boarded a luxury tour bus. The managers who were not boarded a little yellow school bus. We both had to ask for forgiveness later, but it made the point.  He was  one of my most memorable colleagues and friend since 2003. God speed Paul. 

Paul was a big man.  He was big hearted, big headed.  He liked big ideas, big music, big glasses, big cities. He stood tall and he stood proud.  He was proud of his country, his city, his job and most of all his family.  

We shared the love of clean food, well dressed women, family gatherings, politics, history, cinema and dark humour.  We disagreed vehemently over Trump, Disney, Labour Unions and Jimmy Hoffa but never parted company on a sour note.  He was among the most gracious men I have ever know, a great friend and he will be sorely missed.
