Robert "Bob" Luckman was truly a larger-than-life character — unique, one of a kind, and blessed with a wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to those around him. He adored his family and treasured the time spent with them. Bob’s passions included golf, fishing, football, and socializing with his many friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. May he rest in peace.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, Gale Luckman; sisters Ellen Gardner and Gail Weiss; children Debbie (Andrew Yoblon) Luckman, Brian (Karen) Luckman, and Craig Luckman & Lisa Juliano; grandchildren Bree, Elly, Tori, Evan, and Madison. Robert is preceded in death by his father and mother, Sid & Estelle Luckman.

A Funeral Service will be held at North Shore Congregation Israel, 1185 Sheridan Rd, Glencoe, IL 60022, on April 17, 2026, at 12:30 pm. The Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 9900 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076.
Shiva will take place at Northmoor Country Club, 820 Edgewood Rd, Highland Park, IL 60035, on April 17, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
