Sandra Roth

Sandra Zimberoff Roth, 81, loving mother and grandmother passed away November 19, 2014 after a short and courageous battle with cancer. She was a life long Chicago native. Sandra attended the University of Chicago at age 14 and received her bachelor's degree years later from Northwestern. For years she was the principal of Sandra Roth and Associates, a travel firm that specialized in exotic touring and corporate travel. Sandra had many interests in addition to her travel. She loved the arts, would spend many hours at the Art Institute and looked forward to live performances of music, dance, and opera. Her most favorite activity was walking along the sands of Lake Michigan and remembering her days at the Dunes in Indiana. Sandra is survived by her loving family; David and Polly Roth, Joel and Cessy Roth, Steven Roth and Jody Schuster, Ann and David Kriozere and 11 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday November 21 at Weinstein Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie. In lieu of flowers, Sandra requested that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org, or the University of Chicago Comprehensive Cancer Center, www.uchicago.cancer.edu.
