Van D. Foster, 71. Beloved husband of 39 years to Elissa (nee Caras); devoted father of Jordan (Priscilla) Foster and Jay Foster; proud grandfather of Jaden, Jaxon, and Jensen; caring son-in-law of Joseph (late Barbara) Caras; dear brother-in-law of Dani (Jan), Scott (Tina), and Steve (Megan) Caras; loving uncle of Sarah (Jeremy), Matt (Dori), Julie (Justin), Jaclyn (Johnny), Brent (Lauren), Ethan, Aidan, and Jillian; close cousin of Max (Janet) Ring. Van graduated from Mather High School and University of Illinois at Chicago. He was a proud “tech nerd”- truly ahead of his time. He worked for over 50 years at RAI Media, Inc. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.
