We regret to inform you that Yakov Abromovich Kruglyanskiy passed away on September 13th, 2022. He was born in Piryatin, Ukraine, on August 25th, 1925, and attended an engineering school in Chernigov. When the war began, the air force recruited Yakov to work as a mechanic on the front lines. After the war, he met his late wife, Yevgenia Efimovna (Birbrier) Kruglyanskaya. They had been married for 55 years until her death in 2007. Yakov and Yevgenia both enjoyed singing in the Chicago Senior Russian Choir. They had two sons, Gregory (Lidiya) and Arkady. His grandchildren, Anna (Billy) Finch and Roman (Omosigho Osian) Kruglyanskiy, survive him. Idubor, Ehika, Alika Kruglyanskiy, and Leah Finch are among his great-grandchildren. Yakov was a loving brother of Michael (Ella) Kruglyanskiy.
The funeral will be on Friday, September 16th, 2022, at 11AM at Weinstein & Piser Funeral Home, 111 Skokie Blvd, Wilmette, IL 60091. Then the procession will continue to the final resting place in Rosehill Cemetery, 5800 N. Ravenswood Ave., Chicago, IL 60660. Shiva will be at Zhivago restaurant for a farewell, 9925 Gross Point Rd, Skokie, IL 60076.
