I love you Aunt Dee Dee! One of your famous line was "I hate kids" but deep down inside we all knew that you loved us. I'll never forget the fun trips to your house, we had the best times. I know you are still near but you are truly missed. I am always praying for you. Rest peacefully sweet Tia! ✝️💗

I was 15 years old when I first met Dee Dee; we are sisters and we didn't know it until I was 15 and she was about 10 years old.  I  began to rebel in TX and wanted to go and be with my father in California.  I had not seen my father since I was a toddler.  Dee Dee and I were both the 'oldest'.  She was the oldest of 6 and I came from a home where I was the oldest of 5.  One day, I became upset with something she did and I yanked at her hair.  I don't know what I expected from her.  We were both outside along with the other kiddos.  She didn't hesitate...........it was on!!!  She was so ready to fight me.  The other kiddos ran inside and told our father.  She was punished, I think.  I apologized to her years later.  We were both grandmothers by the time I apologized for pulling her hair that day.  She said, 'we were kids'!  She will forever be known as a fighter and I'm proud to call her my sister, the oldest.  Love-

Dee was the wisest person in my family; her advice and guidance was a huge influence on me. She was the best listener and never walked on egg shells; she’d never hold back. Every time I hear the Doors or any music from the 70s, I’m going to picture us with flowers in our hair dancing around a bonfire just like she loved to do in her old house and having a glass of wine together listening to old stories about her & her siblings when they were wild kids. Really gonna miss her laughter and her beautiful smile. Thank you Tia, for everything you did for me. You’re my unicorn, that rainbow on a rainy day. 💜🌈🦄

Miss Dee, I will forever remember all our nights together working at HealthCare Partners. You were honestly the best nurse I’ve ever had. You always were a step ahead of me knowing what I was going to order or do with the patient. You were always prepared for each patient and were amazing with all our patients. Some of you may not realize that Dee was such a flirt LOL!! She flirted with all the young handsome locum doctors and patients and was very straightforward with each of them about how she was flirting with them! Telling them to marry her or take her on dates. LOL She always made me laugh. She was always so loyal as well, always knew my deepest secrets without judging me on things I did and never told anyone about it. You are an amazing person Dee and can’t wait to see you again in Heaven!

Dee Dee I will always remember the strong person you were, I often asked you how you could be so strong and you always told me that’s what you had to do was to be strong. For that I want you to know you were the strongest woman I know. THATS WHY I CALL YOU MY

You were my first born of all my precious babies. I loved you from the first time I held your tiny body in my arms. When you left me for a better, pain free place, it broke my heart into tiny pieces. I love you my precious “Deedle” to the moon and back, to infinity and beyond. Till I “see you later” baby. 😢😇😘

I met beautiful, strong and hardworking Dee at Tavarua Health Services approximately 11 years ago and she cautivated my  heart with her patience and understanding towards our work she was a great team player and then we became peers with the same title “Managers” and after we became friends and she will always be in my heart 💜

I will always remember our many adventures on the road, at the beaches, your smile and your brains! All the music you embedded in me and jammin to the oldies on the weekends outside. All the education you pushed me to attend and all the love and support you gave me in my good and bad times!
