John Lennis Chambers

John Lennis Chambers III was born on March 15th. 1935 to John Lennis Chambers Jr. and Dorothy Burney, in San Pedro, California. He was raised in Wilmington, California, and lived there until his death, on February, 26th, 2021. He graduated from Banning High school in 1953.

In 1953, John was one of the founding members and chapter officer of the Pharoah's car club. In 1955, he married the love of his life, Carol Spiller. Together, they had four children, Crystal Ann. John Lennis, Sheri Monique and Erik Christopher. John worked as a casual Longshoremen, at Douglas Aircraft and Pan Pacific Fisheries, wher he worked for over 30 years. John is survived by his children, Crystal Chambers, Sheri Chambers and her fiance, Cesar Rendon and Erik Chambers. His son John Chambers preceded him in death, as did his beloved wife Carol. John is also survived by his grandchildren Tracie Gonzalez, Crystal Brereton, David Chambers, Erick Chambers and Gloria Martin. His grandson John Chambers preceded him in death. His 9 great grandchildren, Amir Portious, Kevin Stainback, Akemi Stainback, Blessyn Simmons, Dream Simmons, Elias Aldaco, Dominic Aldaco, Sophia Martin and Lucious Chambers. His youngest brother Terry Chambers, his wife Barbra Chamers, their children, Vickie Jefferson, Allison Flanegan and Lakisha Porter. his brother Lennis Chambers preceded him in death. His niece and nephews, James Chambers, his wife Gail Chambers, Tracie Mosely and her husband Everett Moseley, Michael Chambers, Olivia. His nephew Lennis Chambers preceded him in death. There are a host of other cousins, relatives and friends that loved him dearly. He cherished his family and friends dearly. He will be missed by all that new and loved him
