Linda Marie Gutowski was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She left this world on September 17, 20210, at age 74. She was born to Sally Reyes and Anthony Carrillo on December 30, 1946 in Long Beach, Ca. Linda grew up in Wilmington however spent most of her life in San Pedro, before her settling in Carson, Ca.
Her legacy consists of raising 3 sons; Scott & Dean ( Staci) & was preceded in death by eldest on Mark. Linda leaves behind her grandchildren; Cee Jay, Dino, Sami and lil Mark & great granddaughter Quinn Marie. Her siblings are Carmen, Diana (Junior), Joe (Rita), Mario (Val), and Michael (Dori). She has also joined preceding siblings; Brother Anthony and Sisters Anna and Olga. Linda also leaves behind nieces and nephews and her giving and appreciated caregivers, Angelica and Crystal.
Linda had many talents, one of them being a hairdresser. Her sisters had the privilege of being her models, which sometimes did not always work out to their advantage, especially when they had to waif for their hair to grow back. Just as her sons and brothers will always remember their " bowl" haircuts as well. Linda was also an excellent cook in both Mexican and Italian cuisine. She also mastered the art of baking and making desserts. If you had the honor of cooking and learning any of her recipes and secrets, you better have made sure that you wrote it down and that you did it right (or else). Along with that, she enjoyed her food with so much enthusiasm. Watching how she prepared her plate and how she would savor each bite would make anyone jealous. And say to yourself " Why can't it eat like that".
Our Mother, Grandmother, Sister Auntie, and friend you will be dearly missed but you were called home and now you have been resurrected into eternal life with our Lord Jesus Christ.... until we meet again, rest easy.
A graveside ceremony will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes, Ca. followed by a celebration of life reception.
The family would like to thank you and express out sincere gratitude we are truly blessed to have family and friends such as you in this time of need, you will never forgotten.
