Vicky, I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing and working with Billy during my time at SURFPAC. Although I have known him only a year, in talking to him it felt as if I have known him for much longer. He will be greatly missed!

I met Billy in 2010 at SURFPAC. He very quickly became a friend and  a person that I respected. He tought me a lot about ship maintenance and I will never forget the great man he was. Thank you for providing me the opportunity to write a few words about a person that will be missed immensely.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Billy's family as they deal with the loss of such a great person.  I had the honor of working with Billy off and on over the last 10 years and considered him a very good man both personally and professionally.

My prayers go out Vicky and the family, I had the pleasure to work with Uncle Billy for the past six years, his great stories and wisdom will be solely missed. Thanks for all what you taught us.

Dear Vicky, I had the honor of working with your husband at COMNAVSURFPAC back in 2011-2012.  Billy immediately took me under his wing and not only shared his knowledge, but also became a very good friend with many stories to make us all laugh.  He will be missed terribly.  I still can't believe he is gone. All my hopes and prayers are with you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Ahumada family. I enjoyed working with Billy when was at SURFMEPP in Sasebo, Japan and always enjoyed meeting with him when he came to Sasebo. He was a wonderful man and will truly be missed.

Another "Chili Pepper" has joined the golfers in Heaven.  Though it's been several years since i saw Billy, I always considered him a dear friend.  We had some great times on the links and at the board meetings. Billy always kept the ship (club) on course.

I share the sorrow of Billy's untimely departure.  We will miss his smile and everlasting stories that made our days complete.

I loved listening to his stories and his tales of his adventures on the many cruises he and his family went on. Even though he was a Dodger fan I still had the utmost respect for him.
