Mrs. Alma Gail Lewis King

Alma Gail King, aged 63 of Wilmington, died Monday, May 17th, 2010 at her residence. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Church of the Good Shepherd; burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Alma was born August 23, 1946, a daughter of the late William Dude and Nannie Elizabeth Copeland Lewis and was a lifelong member of Church of the Good Shepherd. Not only did she have a love for all people but she truly loved all “Kitty Cats”.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Carl King of the home; 2 sons Danny Wayne King and wife Sylvia of Tacoma WA and William David King of Castle Hayne; a brother, Alan Lewis and wife Wanda of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Carl Alexander, Steven Dwain, Daniel Justin and William Isaac; special friends, Carol Bullis and Jan Eldridge.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Wednesday at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home Chapel and request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice or Church of Good Shepherd in Alma’s honor.
