She was born in Cincinnati, OH on July 3, 1925 to the late Hans and Sophia Danker.
Bette enjoyed working in the yard and enjoyed living and working near the beach, Known to many as “Mrs. B”. She was happiest around people and laughter.
She was preceded in death by her former husband, Clarence Russell Block; step mother, Rosa Bruns and daughter, Deborah Rose Block.
She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Block Weide, Tina Block Carter; grandchildren, Heather Weide Brown, Amber Weide Kollar, Jason Russell Carter and Joshua Aaron Carter along with 8 great grandchildren
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4pm to 6pm on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service.
