Betty Midgett Boggs

Betty was born in Hampstead, N.C. on April 27, 1932 daughter to the late Roland and Rachel Midgett. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Walter (Pat) Boggs; sons, Samuel and Kenneth Boggs; grandson, Neal Ashcraft, Jr.

Betty was the 1st of 7 children. She was the best wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother. She was loyal friend and church member when she was able to attend.

Betty is survived by her sister, Sylvia Smith, who visited her while she was sick for years; daughter, Susan (Jerry) Reynolds; Grandchildren, Paul(Kay) and Scott(Rhonda); great grandchildren, Brittanie, Zach, Dylan, Darren and Cooper; great-great grandson, Collin.

Visitation will be held Monday, October, 19, 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington, NC 28403.

Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Tuesday, October 20, 2015

at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412 with Pastor Jonathan Watson of Cape Fear Presbyterian Church officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Foundation or Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
