Eleanor Reed Woolridge of Wilmington, N.C. formerly of Petersburg, VA died Monday October 11, 2010 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1921 in Brunswick County VA. daughter of the late John William Reed and Emma Lynch Reed. Eleanor was a member Trinity United Methodist Church in Petersburg VA and also a member of the Federated Women?s Club. Surviving is her husband Gene Woolridge of Wilmington, N.C. formerly of Petersburg VA, children; Emma Jean Jackson and husband Mike of Rocky Point, N.C. and Donald Woolridge and wife Betsy of Toano, VA., five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services will be held at a later date in VA.
