Emma Marguerite Norris Jenkins

Our beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at Cape Fear Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 18, 1922 to the late Charles and Sudie Norris.

She was a member of Middle Sound Advent Christian Church. Mrs. Jenkins is predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Henry C. Jenkins, Sr., her brother Charles Norris and sister Gladys Norris Foister.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her daughter, Elaine J. Congleton and her husband, Rick, of Hampstead; her son, Henry C. Jenkins, Jr., and his wife, Pamela of Wilmington; two grandsons, Glenn F. Klette, Jr. of Kentucky, and Sergeant First Class Charles E. Klette, US Army Germany; two great-granddaughters Malia Ashley Klette of Wilmington; and Kassie Marie Klette Congleton of Hampstead; two nieces; Dianne N. Hamilton of Leland, and Deborah N. Langley and her husband, Jerry of Ogden.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm, Friday, February 10 from the chapel of Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, Oleander Chapel. Visitation with the family will be Thursday February 9 from 6pm to 8pm. Memorials may be made to the Middle Sound Advent Christian Church, 7315 Mason Landing Road, Wilmington, NC 28411
