In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Angela Romano.
Eugene is survived by his sister Christine Hughes and husband David of Wilmington; nieces Tina Hughes of Nevada and Toni Hughes of Washington and great niece Sage Hughes of Nevada.
A Visitation will be held at 6-8pm on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service Chapel, 1155 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC.
Burial will be private.
