George was born on August 3, 1948, in Canton, Ohio. He enjoyed spending his time golfing and working in his yard, activities that brought him both peace and joy.
George is survived by his wife, Peggy, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage; his son Greg and daughter-in-law Juli, and grandsons Braden and Camden; his daughter Lindsey and son-in-law Alex, and granddaughters Cassidy and Haylie.
A Service will be held on Saturday January 31, 2026, at 11:00 am at Coble Funeral and Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1155 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifeCare Hospice Facility.
