Glenda Sue Henry Bordeaux, lovingly known as "Nana" by her family and friends, went to be with her Lord on April 1, 2014. She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Culbertson Henry and is survived by her father Roy Henry, sisters, Joyce Goldberg (Bill) and Laverne Amburgey, brother, Wesley Henry (Joanne), daughter Kristen Harrell, and grandchildren Trevor and Ryan Miller and Bobby and Kyri Harrell. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom she dearly loved and considered part of her family. She will be deeply missed but her life impacted so many that her memory will be very much alive until we see her again. Glenda enjoyed helping others everyday and spent many happy hours gardening, painting, and writing. Her example of love and compassion will live on through all those whose lives she touched. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Wrightsville Beach Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Louthan officiating. Interment will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens. Flowers are gratefully accepted.
