

Grady Franklin Hardin Jr., 67, of Wilmington, NC, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2026 surrounded by family.
Grady was born December 29, 1958 to the late Grady Franklin Hardin Sr. and Priscilla “Elsie” Hardin of Raeford, North Carolina.
Grady was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and great-grandfather, whose life was defined by hard work, dedication, and family. Grady, who spent more than 45 years in the construction industry. Grady owned and operated his own construction business Hardin Home Repair for many years. During these years, Grady earned the respect of his community through his strong work ethic, craftsmanship, and integrity.
Grady will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. Grady’s greatest joy came from time being spent with his family. We will forever Cherish the memories.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Eve Hardin and his children. Jeffrey Ransom (Michelle), of Pawleys Island, SC. Amy Gralak (Chris), of Wilmington, NC. Brian Ransom (Appolonia), of Charlotte, NC. Caitlin Noel (Tyler) of Goldsboro, NC.
Grandchildren, Christina Gralak, Tristen Gralak, Micah Ransom, Makayla Ransom, Mikella Ransom, Mariah Ransom, Skylar Ransom, Aiden Gralak, Ariana Gralak, Damien Ransom, Sophia Noel, Landon Noel and Noah Ransom. Great- grandchildren, Hudson and Carson Gralak. Sister, Robyn Moore (Derek), and children, Logan Moore, Joshua Moore, Taylor Anne Moore, of Nashville, TN and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 23, 2026 at 10:00 am at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn. 1155 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington, NC 28412. Celebration of life service will follow at 11:00 am.
