Harold C. Autry

Harold was born on September 10, 1935, in Linden, NC, son of the late Della Jane Simmons Autry and John Troy Autry.

Harold stared driving in 1960 with haul back eighteen wheeler farm equipment and turned his love of driving into a 37 year career working for several companies such as Koch Services, Southern Wood Piedmont and F. W. Groves Trucking.

Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Harold Kennith Autry.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary Frances Johnson Autry; daughters , Jolene Denise Autry and Crystal Michelle Autry and her husband, Darrell Stubbs; 6 grandchildren, Amanda Morrison, Allen Autry, Brittany Autry, Heather Stancil Autry, Roberto Franco and Sandra Franco; 6 great grandchildren, Alyssa Mata, Daniel Mata and Jaylene Mata, Kristiany Zamora, Kendall Stancil and Alyssa Morrison.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive Wilmington, NC 28403.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, March 25, 2013 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home. Graveside Service will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 1311 Shipyard Blvd, Wilmington, NC 28412 with Pastor Hoyt King of Peace Memorial Baptist Church officiating.
