Harold Edward Arnold of Wilmington passed away peacefully Sunday, November 16, 2014. He was born January 4, 1933 in Saltville, VA, the son of the late Elbert Roy and Virgie Booth Arnold. He was also preceded in death by three brothers Elbert Roy Arnold, Jr., Richard Marlan Arnold, and Buddy Gene Arnold. Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Jean; son Jeff Arnold and wife Valerie of Wilmington; daughter Janet Arnold Carver and husband Bill of Rocky Mount, NC; four grandchildren Lauren, Kristen, Ashlyn, and Clayton; and three brothers Herbert Vernon Arnold of Saltville, VA; David Burton Arnold of Greensburg, PA; Danny Franklin Arnold of Cherry Grove, SC. The family wishes to thank the staff at Paraklay Way at Brightmore of Wilmington for their loving care of "Papa". A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
