Helen Louise Kelly Johnson

Helen Louise Kelly Johnson, 75, passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, John W. Kelly, Sr. and Josephine Neal Kelly; brothers, J.W. Kelly, Jr., Richard Kelly; and sister, Josie Watson.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rupert “R.H.” Johnson; sons, Brent Johnson of Wilmington, Rupert Johnson, II of Raleigh, and Stephen Johnson of Wilmington; brother, James (Nancy) Kelly of Roseville, NC; sisters, Elizabeth (George) Batten of Garner, NC, Donna (Billy) Huff of Garner, NC, and Doris (James) Barbour of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Justin Johnson, Douglas Johnson, Luke Johnson, Forrest Johnson, and Kimberly Johnson.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011 at Oleander Memorial Gardens with Rev. Keith Hollar officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, December 4, 2011 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
