Henry Albert Sanders, 80, of Wilmington passed away on Wednesday January 14, 2015 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter. He was born on November 8, 1934 in Wilmington, NC to the late Albert and Henrie Evans Sanders. He is also preceded in death by 6 sisters. Henry is survived by his wife Catherine Hair Sanders; 3 children, Donna Pearson (Wade), Albert Sanders, Jr. (Debbie) and David Sanders (Lisa); 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and sister, Billie Overby. Henry worked at Fluor Daniels where he retired. He was an avid golfer, coached Little League for many years and was an all around sports fan. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday, January 16, 2015 at Andrews Valley Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 2pm Saturday, January 17, 2015 at Andrews Valley Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff of Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
