December 11, 1986 – August 26, 2024
Jamie was raised in Malvern, Pennsylvania where she attended Sugartown Elementary, General Wayne Middle School and graduated from Shipley School in 2005. She was an excellent student, but it was on the athletic fields where she stood out, playing field hockey and lacrosse. In college Jamie majored in Fashion Design at Syracuse University, where she graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, after which she worked in the Food & Beverage and Retail sectors.
Jamie was a natural athlete and after college she took up golf. She also enjoyed playing in a co-ed softball league in Wilmington, NC. However, her real love was for the arts. She was an accomplished artist and loved music & singing.
Things we remember most about Jamie are her incredible intelligence, her artistic flair, her keen sense of humor and her deep love for her pets.
Jamie struggled with ongoing health issues as well as with grief. She was predeceased by her brother Josh, who passed away in 2013. Jamie spent a good portion of her last three years at Launchpad, a sober living community in Wilmington, NC, where she worked hard at maintaining her sobriety.
Jamie is survived by her mother and father, Stephanie and Hank Gulbrandsen.
Jamie will be sorely missed but never forgotten. We rest in the hope that she is at peace and in the presence of the Lord.
