
Jane was preceded in death by her husband Robert Moore, her grandson Neil Williams, and her brother Charles Bell.
Jane was extremely proud of her 31 years of teaching small children in both public and private schools. She was an active member of Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church for the last 50 years. Jane was always willing to help anyone who needed it whether it was a warm meal or a place to stay; her door was always open. Jane will be missed greatly by both friends and family, but they will be comforted knowing she is finally reunited with the love of her life, Robert.
Jane is survived in death by her two daughters Cathy Williams, and Debbie Phillips and husband Mike Phillips; grandchildren Jason Soles and partner Christine Millier, Stacy Soles, Stephanie Mozingo and husband Austin Mozingo, Bruce Williams and long-time girlfriend Kira Williamson, Leslie Webb and husband Nick Webb; great-grandchildren Austin Soles and wife Toni Soles, Drew Soles, and Bennett Soles; great-great-grandchildren Ryan Rose Soles and Elijah Soles; brother Mack Bell and wife Nancy Bell.
The family wishes to thank the compassionate staff at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice in Wilmington, NC, and Jane’s personal-care attendant, Teresa Michaud.
Memorial services will be held for Jane on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Both visitation (10am) and the funeral service (11am) will be held at Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church with graveside to follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in her memory be made to the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Hospice.
