Jesse Allen Ward, 62, of Brunswick County passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at hospice. He was born in Columbus County to Jesse Brown Ward and Alice “Pebo” Faye Clewis Ward on February 10, 1959.
He is survived by both his parents, four sons; Richard Allen Ward and partner Barbie, Jesse Rayn Ward, Jason Alexander Ward and wife Rita, Jonathan Allen Ward and wife Chelsea, and his brother Mark Ward.
Allen graduated from South Brunswick High School in 1977 and later attended night classes at CFCC and received his diploma for Private Investigator from Stratford Career Institute in 2020. He spent his early years perfecting his hobbies of painting and playing the guitar. He painted everything from portraits, business signs, billboards, cars and the cranes at the state ports. Painting is what made him money but he was most known for his guitar skills, he played in multiple bands in Wilmington and surrounding areas, leaving an impact on the musicians that knew him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 2-5pm at Coble Funeral & Cremation Service at Greenlawn Memorial Park. There will be a time of sharing beginning at 4pm.
