John "Jack" Charles Murray

John “Jack” Charles Murray of Carolina Beach died Sunday February 24, 2008 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin July 3, 1940 son of Loraine Petrosky Murray of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the late Charles Murray and was the beloved son-in-law of the late Roman and Evelyn Spielbauer. Mr. Murray was retired from CSI Woodtec and was employed with Lowes of Monkey Junction. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife Susan Murray of the home; children; Stuart Murray and wife Neacole of Asheville, NC, Christopher Murray and wife Janis of Durham, NC, Jennifer Matz and husband Eric of Hastings, Minnesota; grandchildren; Alex Murray, Sylvia Murray, Isabel Murray, Adam Wester, Jared Wester, Caitlin Wester, Riley Matz, Morgan Matz, Elijah Matz and Wyatt Matz; brothers; Charles Murray and Patrick Murray; sister; Susie Wisner; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9am Thursday February 28, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will be at 2:45 pm Thursday at St. Matthews Catholic Church Cemetery in Durham, NC. The family will receive friends form 7 pm to 8 pm Wednesday February 27, 2008 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorial may be mad to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 6650 Carolina Beach Rd. Wilmington NC 28412 or to the charity of ones choice.
