Jon Ray Baker

He was born in Fort Bragg, NC on June 12, 1977 to Helene Engdahl and Brad Baker.

Jon was an avid motor bike enthusiast enjoying this hobby with his sons, Jake and Dylan and nephews. He was an accomplished mechanic fixing every ones mechanical needs. His musical talent included the violin and guitar. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his most loved Hoo Bear, his daughter Hayden.

Jon is survived by his loving wife Katherine and three children: Jake, Hayden and Dylan; parents, Helene Engdahl, Brad Baker and his wife Shelly; sisters, Kathryn Moody and Summer Baker; brother-in-laws, James Yopp and Dr. Eric Yopp and much loved nieces and nephews : Megan, Riley, Jeremiah, M.J., Keira, Aubrie, Abigail, Pearson, Grady and J.L.

Family and friends can visit anytime at the home of Mary and Jimmy Yopp.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4pm on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service with Kelley Wheat-Rivers officiating. Immediately following the ceremony family and friends are invited to meet at the Yopp’s home.
