

Joseph (Joe) was born December 20, 1928, in Hartford Connecticut to Joseph Peter and Elizabeth Catherine Namnoum. He was predeceased by his second wife Amelia and first wife Dorothy. Joe was also predeceased by his son Stephen Joseph Namnoum, his brothers Peter and Kenneth Namnoum, his sisters Cathy Jeresaty, Jane Thomas and his grandson Christian Joseph Paul as well as many close family members.
Joe is survived by his daughters Maureen Shepard, JoAnne Paul, and son-in-law David Paul. He is also survived by his grandchildren Brian Shepard, Kaitlyn Paul, Scott Shepard, Andrew Paul, Colin Namnoum, and Margo Namnoum.
Joe graduated from Buckley High School in 1947. He was inducted into the army during the Korean War and served as a Sergeant from January 1951-December 1952. Joe graduated with a BS in Business Administration from University of Hartford in 1957. He had a 35-year career as a Sales Representative and Territory Manager with Shell Oil Company and retired in 1989.
After retirement Joe proudly served as a 4th Degree Knight for Knights of Columbus in Stuart Florida. He enjoyed playing golf and bridge, was an early adaptor of new technology, loved baseball but most importantly was an avid Yankees fan. Joe had many close friends in Stuart Florida where he resided throughout his retirement. He was often referred to as the "Mayor" of his community, Monarch Country Club.
