He enjoyed reading, hunting, and fishing in his spare time. He also worked for Raysand for a number of years. He is preceded in death by his daughters, Bessie Watson and Rebecca Lovell.
Mr. Watson is survived by his step-daughter, Tammy Gore of Wilmington; ex-wife Janice Watson, of Leland; and grandchildren, E.C. and Tiffany Gore.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 12:00 PM at Shiloh United Methodist Church, 1874 Maco Rd. NE, Leland, NC 28451.
