Linda was born in Charlotte, NC on September 13, 1942 to Platt Duke Moody, Jr. and LaRue DuBois Moody.
She graduated from Garinger High School in Charlotte, NC. After moving to Winston-Salem, NC she was employed by Hanes Hosiery until she retired. After retiring from Hanes she started a cleaning service and worked at that until being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. She was a devoted mother. She enjoyed beach trips with her family and special friends from her Sunday school class.
Linda is survived by her daughter Angie Baucom of Wilmington, NC, her son Marty Baucom of Ruffin, NC; sister Betty M. Alexander of Kernersville, NC, her Aunt and Uncle Betty C. and Bill Thomason of Charlotte, NC and many cousins and special friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life at the end of January.
